Christina Burawa received a BFA in painting with a minor in education from Washington University in St. Louis and an MFA in Painting and Drawing from Arizona State University. Before teaching Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help, she worked as a social worker, a public art project manager, an art teacher, and a university Art Appreciation instructor.
Christina has been studying Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) through the Mary Burmeister Jin Shin Jyutsu Institute in Arizona since 2003 and practicing JSJ professionally since 2006, and is certified to teach Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help as taught by Mary Burmeister. Before discovering JSJ, Christina studied Reiki through the Master / Teacher attunement and training. She also earned Advanced Certification in Therapeutic Massage.
Christina has been a student of modern dance and Iyengar Yoga. She also practiced Zen Buddhism with Rinzai Japanese Zen Master Kyozan Joshu.
