|Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help (and Helping Others) Workshop
Sunday, May 7
Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
Jin Shin Jyutsu is an energy-based modality. In Jin Shin Jyutsu self-help classes, teacher and students work on 26 pairs of points - "safety energy locks" - located bilaterally throughout the body. This practice is said to clear energetic blockages, thus improving the balance and flow of life force energy in the body.
During a one-hour class, instructor Christina Burawa leads students through a short sequence of safety energy lock points. As students practice their own self-help, Christina gives each student a brief Jin Shin Jyutsu treatment.
Vicki Slater, who first learned about energy work 25 years ago, said as soon as she discovered Jin Shin Jyutsu, "I fell in love with it." Practicing in Burawa's class, she added, "Is the best of the good hours of the year."
Christina Burawa has been studying Jin Shin Jyutsu since 2003 and practicing professionally since 2006. She is certified to teach Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help as developed by Jiro Murai and Mary Burmeister.
"Through Jin Shin Jyutsu our awareness is awakened to the simple fact that all that is needed for harmony and balance with the universe - physically, emotionally, spiritually - is within myself."
~ Mary Burmeister
